Sefanit Gebretsadik, MD

Principal Investigator – General Medicine

Dr. Gebretsadik was born and raised in Ethiopia, where she completed medical school before moving to the United States. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, primary care, and long-term care, with her primary experience as a Hospitalist, where she developed a passion for complex patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

She has always been fascinated by how medical discoveries translate into improved patient outcomes, which drew her toward clinical research and the intersection of medicine, innovation, and technology. She is especially interested in how new scientific discoveries can enhance clinical outcomes and transform care delivery.

Outside of work, Dr. Gebretsadik loves traveling, cooking, baking, and experimenting with healthy recipes, as well as spending time with her family in the Dallas area. She also enjoys reading about self-development, personal growth, and the intersection of spirituality and science, and I’m naturally curious about different cultures, traditions, and philosophies.
