Chad Hooper
Chad Hooper currently serves as an Operating Partner at Biospring Partners, specializing in supporting growth strategies at pharmaceutical services companies. At Biospring, Mr. Hooper has supported other portfolio companies, including Kiniciti, which provides manufacturing services of iPSCs, where he was VP, Corporate Development.
Mr. Hooper has spent the last decade supporting industry-leading pharma services companies, with a focus on corporate development activities, including leading mergers and acquisitions and investments, driving partnerships, and establishing and executing multi-year growth strategies. Mr. Hooper most recently served the clinical research group of Thermo Fisher Scientific as Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, joining that business as part of the acquisition of PPD Inc., a leading clinical research organization (CRO). Prior to PPD, Chad served in a similar capacity at Patheon Inc., a leading global CDMO.
Chad is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and began his career in investment banking at Truist (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) and Piper Sandler (formerly Edgeview Partners).
