Nick Kenny
Former CSO Syneos Health
After 28 years in clinical research and consulting, in early 2025, Nick retired as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) from Syneos Health – a 28,000 person global clinical development organization. During his career, Nick was global leader for INC Research’s Oncology business, led the medical, pharmacovigilance, and early development operations for Syneos Health, and was senior consultant with Campbell Alliance. Prior to this, Nick had a biomedical research career in the UK, Canada and the US, with his work funded via SERC, NATO, NIH and USDA, and was on faculty at the University of Vermont Medical School. Nick’s focus has been in streamlining new drug development in oncology and rare diseases, and in equitable clinical research. He is past-President of the Board of Hospice of Wake County in NC, and lives in Raleigh NC.
