Kat Pham, M.D.

Principal Investigator – Women’s Health

Dr. Kat Pham is originally from the enchanting city of Lake Jackson, Texas. Her journey into medicine began when she was a teenager, but blossomed when she worked with UNICEF and developed an interest in public health. While hosting an event to raise awareness on fistulas, she realized she wanted to work closer with and make direct impacts on people. Driven by a desire to help others, she discovered her true calling in the field of medicine. Dr. Pham is deeply committed to making a difference in this world. This passion drove her to embark on multiple international medical missions across South America and Africa. She continues to be dedicated to her international and local volunteering endeavors and firmly believes that every act of kindness can make a positive impact, no matter how small.  Dr. Pham completed her medical education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She furthered her expertise through a residency in OB/GYN at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock. In addition, her background is in Molecular Biology, which she acquired during her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, adds depth to her medical knowledge.

Dr. Pham has received various honors and awards throughout her career which demonstrate her dedication and excellence in the field of medicine. Some of her notable accolades include the 2019 Beverly & Stanley Weiss Rural Osteopathic Medical Education Award, the 2021 Resident Clinical Teaching Award, the 2022 OB/GYN Resident of the Month Award, and the prestigious 2023 Howard Kelly Award for Comprehensive Women’s Care. She has also been recognized with the 2023 Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Excellence in Obstetrics Award and served as the Chief Resident of her OB/GYN residency program.

Dr. Pham is a compassionate and empathetic healthcare professional who understands the sensitive nature of women’s health. She is dedicated to providing her patients with a comfortable and reassuring experience. Dr. Pham is well-prepared to guide and serve her community through various health challenges, including preventative care, pregnancy, surgery, and overall well-being. She particularly enjoys working with patients from diverse backgrounds and cherishes the opportunity to learn from them.

When she’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Pham enjoys hiking with her fiancé, Jonathan, and their dogs, especially in the beautiful mountains. She loves to experiment with new cooking techniques and recipes as she’s an avid baker and cook. Dr. Pham’s enthusiasm to understand the world is reflected in her love for traveling and immersing herself in different cultures. In her free time, you can often find her reading psychological thrillers or indulging in some reality TV.
