Dr. Abiodun Adefurin is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal medicine and Clinical pharmacology. Dr. Adefurin’s medical career is built on a strong educational foundation. He completed Internal medicine residency and a fellowship in clinical pharmacology. Throughout his career, Dr. Adefurin has been affiliated with several medical institutions. He has held positions in hospital Medicine at various hospitals in Alabama, Tennessee and Texas. In his practice as a hospitalist, Dr. Adefurin focuses on the care of hospitalized patients.
His expertise in clinical pharmacology provides him with a specialized understanding of the effects of medications on the human body. He has extensive experience conducting over one hundred Phase 1-4 clinical trials as Principal Investigator/Sub-Investigator across multiple therapeutic areas applying his expertise in clinical pharmacology. He has also contributed to the medical literature through his research and publications in peer reviewed journals.
Dr Adefurin enjoys soccer as he follows the English Premier league closely and he is dreaming of a fun filled 2026 soccer World cup with Dallas hosting some matches. He enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
